Lippert Components Begins Production of Award Winning Tow-N-Stow(TM) Storable Trailer

GOSHEN, Ind., July 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Lippert Components, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Drew Industries Incorporated (NYSE: DW), reported today that it has started volume production of its latest product line, the Tow-N-Stow(TM). Pre-production units were unveiled at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, NV where Tow-N-Stow(TM) was awarded a Retailers’ Choice Award based on innovation, design and sales potential for retailers.

One of the innovative features of the Tow-N-Stow(TM) is that it converts from a utility trailer to an upright attractive storage unit in less than one minute. “The Tow-N-Stow(TM) is an excellent addition to the Lippert product line and is another step in our strategy to diversify into new markets,” said Jason Lippert, President and CEO of Lippert Components. The unit has the capability to haul up to 1,000 pounds behind most small vehicles, providing an alternative for consumers without large SUVs and light trucks.

“An additional benefit to the Tow-N-Stow(TM) is that the product is environmentally friendly,” said Brian Donat, Director of Marketing for Lippert Components. “With the lightweight design of the Tow-N-Stow(TM) the consumer can expect minimal change to fuel efficiency when towing. Also, the body of the Tow-N-Stow(TM) contains 7% post-consumer material reclaimed from water bottles and recycled products. The body is 100% recyclable.”

The Tow-N-Stow(TM) product is available for online purchase and as well at retail locations across the United States. It will also be featured on an upcoming episode of TLC’s (The Learning Channel) home improvement show “Designing Spaces” on August 7th 2009.
