Select Walmart Stores Near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to Host NASCAR Fan Events
INDIANAPOLIS, July 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — As Indianapolis prepares for the
upcoming Brickyard 400, select Walmart stores near the Indianapolis Motor
Speedway will host exclusive NASCAR fan events through its new Race Time program
starting July 27. Customers are invited to attend these special events and enjoy
real stock racing car displays, a special appearance by Eric McClure, and racing
simulator machines – perfect to safely get behind the wheel and feel the power
of NASCAR – July 27-30 from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
“We’ve found that nearly nine out of 10 NASCAR fans chose to shop at Walmart
(1),” said Walmart market manager Becky Dedman. “We wanted to provide
Indianapolis race fans with unique Race Time experiences and unbelievable
savings on NASCAR merchandise that you can only find at Walmart.”

Walmart stores will feature incredible prices on NASCAR merchandise during the
racing season such as T-shirts, racing flags, and tailgating food and beverages
