RONCALLI INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY TEACHER JIM RATLIFF SELECTED FOR AWARD

INDIANAPOLIS – January 24, 2011 – Roncalli High School Industrial Technology Teacher Jim Ratliff was recently selected by Williams Comfort Air and Metzler’s Mr. Plumber as one of their ExtraordinAIRy Teachers. Ratliff is to receive a $500 cash award, and Roncalli will also receive a $500 contribution to assist in educational efforts.

Mr. Ratliff was nominated by one of his current students in his Computers and Design Productions Systems Class Senior Justin Smith. Ratliff was awarded due to his selflessness and desire to develop teaching approaches that take advantage of individual student’s strengths and skills. Often Jim rewards effort as well as results.

Ratliff was chosen among 100 teachers.
