RONCALLI HOSTING COLLEGE PLANNING NIGHT

INDIANAPOLIS – January 14, 2011 – On Monday, January 24, 2011, Roncalli High School will host a college planning night for junior students and their parents.  The presentation begins at 7 p.m. in the RHS Auditorium and will conclude at approximately 9 p.m.  There will be time for questions, and handouts will be available for those in attendance.

Reservations are not required, and all junior families (parents and students) are encouraged to attend this meeting.

Topics for the evening include:

1.  The College Visit presented by Paige Heitzman from Bradley University

2. Admission to selective Universities by Kylie Stanley of Vanderbilt University

3. SAT and ACT Tests by Lynn Starkey and Autumn Currens – Roncalli Counselors

4. The Search for Scholarships by Mary Hall – College Counselor at Roncalli

5. Student Athletes and NCAA and NAIA – Jeff McClure from Marian University and Kelly Kish from the University of Indianapolis

6. Parent Panel-Hints and tips from parents who have been through the admission process–Panelists Randy Ezell, Diane Dubord and Sally Anderson
