University of Notre Dame Scores Centerplate as New Sports Hospitality Partner
SOUTH BEND, Ind., May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Centerplate, the leading
hospitality partner to North America’s premier sports, entertainment and
convention venues, announced today its selection as the University of Notre
Dame’s new hospitality provider for all of its athletic facilities. Following a
competitive bidding process, Centerplate has been awarded a long-term contract
to provide food and beverage services for fans of the Fighting Irish at all of
the University’s sports venues including Notre Dame Stadium, the school’s
80,000-seat football stadium, the Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center, home to
Notre Dame’s basketball and volleyball teams and the soon-to-open Compton Family
Center ice arena, the new home of Notre Dame hockey.
