Northwest Indiana Native Takes Helm at Valparaiso, IN Hotel

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Jan. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — White Lodging recently
announced the promotion of Angie Summar to the position of general manager of
the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Valparaiso, Indiana. A native of Northwest
Indiana, Summar began her career with White Lodging shortly after graduating
from Griffith High School.

She started as an hourly associate in the Hammond, Indiana cluster of
properties, which includes the Courtyard by Marriott, the Fairfield Inn & Suites
and the Residence Inn. In 2004, White Lodging promoted Summar to operations
manager at the Courtyard by Marriott in Merrillville, Indiana. Three years
later, she moved back to the Hammond cluster of hotels in the role of sales
manager. After a brief period with another hotel ownership company, Summar
returned to White Lodging as the sales manager for the Valparaiso hotel cluster
in January 2010.
