Indy Marriott Downtown Official Zoobilation Hotel

INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — The Indianapolis Marriott hotel,
managed by White Lodging, in downtown Indianapolis has signed a three year
commitment to be the official hotel for Zoobilation. Held annually since 1986,
Zoobilation is a black-tie, outdoor dining event held at the Indianapolis Zoo
that raises money to support both Zoo operations and its international
conservation and research efforts.

In 2011, Zoobilation attendance topped 4,000 making it one of the largest
fundraisers in Indiana. Because the Indianapolis Zoo is not a city- or
state-owned entity, it receives no direct tax support, and Zoobilation is vital
to its operation. Zoobilation 2012 will be held on June 8.

As the official Zoobilation hotel, the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown has
special packages for attendees. “Zoobilation is a great event and we are
thrilled to be a part of it,” said General Manager Phil Ray. “We are pulling out
all the stops to make sure those who stay with us have the best experience
possible.”

Ray elaborated by saying that with room rates starting at $189 per night,
accommodations at the Downtown Marriott include a complimentary breakfast for
two, bus transportation to and from the Indianapolis Zoo and discounted parking.
For each room night reserved at this rate, the hotel will give $20 back to the
Zoo. “In addition, we are throwing a party of our own after Zoobilation,” Ray
said. “The Circle City Bar & Grille is going to be the setting for an after-glow
party where guests can keep the good times rolling.”
