Chancellor Michael Harris, professor of Public Policy, retired Major in the
Israeli Defense Forces in Intelligence, is available for commentary about the

Chancellor Harris holds a Ph.D. in public policy from Indiana University, a
master’s degree from Tel-Aviv University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics
and business administration from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He is a graduate
of the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Institute for Educational
Management and the Management Development Program. He is the author of four
books and has published more than 40 professional papers and book chapters.
Chancellor Harris serves as a political commentator for a variety of broadcast
and print media in the United States and Israel; he taught at the Graduate
Program in Public Policy at Tel Aviv University; he was the vice president for
finance and marketing at Tomer Industries in Israel; and he served in the Israel
Defense Forces and retired at the rank of major with active combat experience.
