served our country this Veterans Day, a new partnership will offer a helping

that collects and ships expired and active coupons to U.S. Armed Forces members
and their families for use on military bases. Through this new partnership,

For U.S. Armed Forces members and their families who live on military bases
overseas, expired coupons are fair game. In fact, U.S. Armed Forces members and
their families are allowed to use expired coupons for up to six months past
their expiration dates at their on-base stores. According to a recent survey
conducted online by Harris Interactive on behalf of CouponCabin.com, many people
are unfamiliar with this practice. In fact, the majority (91 percent) of U.S.
adults said they didn’t know that such a service existed. On the flip side, 64
percent said they would be fairly or very likely to donate expired coupons to a
program that helps U.S. Armed Forces serving overseas.
