BTC Launches www.radiobtc.com to Share Message on Future of Digital Radio

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 9, 2010 /PRNewswire/ — The Broadcaster Traffic Consortium
LLC, a consortium of radio broadcasters known as BTC, has launched its website,
www.radiobtc.com with tailored information on the future of digital radio for
automakers, consumer device makers, and radio broadcasters.

BTC is a unique coalition of sixteen radio organizations across the United
States and Canada with 92 markets of FM RDS-TMC and 75 markets of HD data
services. Working together, these organizations have formed a coast-to-coast
terrestrial broadcasting network to distribute local traffic, weather and other
map-related data, via radio technology. Seven of the top ten U.S. radio
organizations are BTC participants.

“The automakers and consumer device makers need to have ready access to current
information about BTC’s breadth and capability,” Paul Brenner, President of BTC,
said. “Radiobtc.com tells the story of our industry wide success in bringing
together independent broadcasters for a single data delivery solution.”

The website includes information on market coverage, latest news, coverage maps,
and history of the BTC. At the recent Los Angeles Autoshow, Honda launched the
new 2011 Odyssey which includes FM Traffic on navigation-enabled cars. This is
the first of several announcements from Honda.

“Terrestrial radio’s future needs newfound HD data services in order to
compliment the digital audio product,” Brenner said. “Radiobtc.com shows the
world how we are making that happen.”
