Vertellus Announces Price Increases for DEET

INDIANAPOLIS, May 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Vertellus Specialties Inc., a leading
specialty chemicals company, today announced price increases for DEET
(n,n-diethyl-tolouamide). Effective June 1, 2011 or as contracts will allow,
Vertellus is raising DEET prices by 12%. The move is being driven by rapidly
increasing up-stream raw material prices based on crude oil including
meta-tolouic acid and metaxylene.
