SILA Welcomes New Board Members

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — The Board of Directors of the
Securities & Insurance Licensing Association, Inc. (SILA) elected the following
new Board members for a two-year term beginning January 1, 2012: Secretary,
Deirdre Patten, Patten Training and Review; Director of Education, Bruce
Saenger, Saenger Consulting; Director of Membership & Growth, Tamara Thompson,
AAA Life Insurance Company; Director of Securities, Tracy Sloan, Waddell & Reed;
Regulatory Advisors, Jason McCartney, Nebraska Insurance Department and Mario
DiTrapani, FINRA. President Elect for the 2012 term will be Beth McCullough of
Asurion Protection Services. The 2012 SILA President will be Dan Corridon of
GEICO. The current SILA President, John Humphries, will move to Immediate Past
President for 2012.

The Securities & Insurance Licensing Association (SILA) brings together
licensing experts whose occupations encompass all aspects of insurance licensing
and securities registration of agents, agencies, adjusters, brokers, companies,
producers, securities dealers, and third party administrators; and other
auxiliary occupations such as administration, regulation, testing, education,
publishing and reporting related to the financial services industry. SILA
members include company and firm representatives responsible for insurance
