Sales Team at Embassy Suites Tampa/Brandon Welcomes New Director
MERRILLVILLE, Ind., June 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Emily Grime has joined White
Lodging as Director of Sales at the Embassy Suites in Brandon, Florida. Located
less than 10 miles from downtown Tampa, the hotel is one of four properties
owned and/or operated by White Lodging in Tampa.
Grime comes to White Lodging from her most recent position at Buca di Beppo,
Inc, an Italian restaurant chain with a location in Tampa. In her position as
Sales Manager at the restaurant, Grime successfully increased sales by $100,000
within six months. She attributes this in part by streamlining processes and
establishing relationships with the customers.
“I am excited to come to White Lodging,” said Grime. “I hope to exceed
forecasted numbers and build the sales team into sales champions.”
Prior to her position at Buca di Beppo, Grime was Director of Sales at the
Mountaineer Casino and Resort in Chester, West Virginia. This job required her
to oversee an $8 million budget which included the sales and catering
departments.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with an undergraduate degree in
Business Management and Duquesne University where she received a graduate degree
in Leadership and Business Ethics, Grime has prior hospitality industry
experience. She has served as the Business Transient Sales Manager at an Embassy
Suites hotel and as the Director of Sales at a Holiday Inn – both of these
properties are located in Pennsylvania.
Commenting on Grime’s appointment, the General Manager at the Embassy Suites in
Brandon, Ryan Frederich, said, “I know we will all enjoy working with Emily. She
has a lot of talent, and I look forward to her sharing it with us.”
