Korst Accepts GM Position in South Florida

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., July 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — White Lodging is pleased to
announce the appointment of JR Korst as the General Manager of the Residence Inn
by Marriott in Miramar, Florida. Located between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, the
five-story all-suite hotel is a member of the Florida Green Lodging program and
features an outdoor pool, sport court, and barbeque patio.

Korst comes to White Lodging from Marriott International where he most recently
was a Bench Manager for various Marriott hotels on the East Coast. “JR is a
great addition to White Lodging and to the Residence Inn in Miramar. He brings a
wealth of experience from his many years with Marriott, managing various select
service and extended stay brands,” said Regional Vice President Jean Smith. “I
look forward with great expectation to the positive impact he will have on the
hotel.”

A native of Massachusetts with a degree from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine,
this new position will mark Korst’s third General Manager position. Prior to his
position as a Bench Manager, Korst was a General Manager first at the Residence
Inn by Marriott in Spartanburg, South Carolina, then the Courtyard by Marriott
in Myrtle Beach.

While still becoming acclimated to the South Florida market, Korst says he is
looking forward to building a team at the hotel that will drive results in all
operational areas.
