Jones Brings Variety of Skills to DOS Role at Residence Inn Louisville Downtown

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Nov. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Bringing a wealth of
hospitality industry and customer service experience with her, Stephanie Jones
has been promoted to Director of Sales at the Residence Inn by Marriott in
downtown Louisville, Kentucky. A White Lodging employee since 2009, Jones’ most
recent position was as the Cluster Senior Sale Manager where she drove the sales
efforts for the SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott and the
Courtyard by Marriott in Louisville.

Before coming to White Lodging, Jones was a Certified Personal Trainer and
Fitness Consultant in Louisville as well as working for Skyline Exhibits as a
Sales Consultant. A life-long fitness advocate, including 15 years of owning her
own fitness business, Jones has worked, throughout her career, in several health
and wellness roles.

Jones’ first foray into the hospitality industry came in 1992 when she served as
the Banquet Coordinator for the Westin Hotel in Cincinnati. She then moved to
The Westin Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix where she was a Reservation
Specialist. Jones also worked as a Catering Manager at the Tivoli Terrace
Restaurant in Laguna Beach, California.

Sealing the credentials on her hospitality and customer service experience,
Jones was a Flight Attendant for Southwest Airlines for three years. “I’ve had a
varied career, and it has exposed me to a lot of different people and
situations,” Jones said. “I am really looking forward to sharing what I have to
offer in my new role at the Residence Inn.”
