Jacobs Receives Contract from Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County, Ind.

PASADENA, Calif.,Feb. 8, 2011/PRNewswire/ –Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:
JEC) announced today that it received a contract from Health and Hospital
Corporation of Marion County, Ind. to provide comprehensive program and
construction management (PMCM) services for the design and construction phases
of the new 1.2 million square-foot Wishard replacement hospital.

Officials did not disclose the contract value.

The project involves a complete replacement of the existing Wishard public
safety-net teaching hospital on the Indiana University-Purdue University
Indianapolis (IUPUI) Medical Center campus. The replacement facility will
include a 327 bed in-patient hospital and Adult Level 1 Trauma Center,
ambulatory care center with more than 200 exam rooms, faculty office building,
nearly 2,800-car parking garage, and central utility plant on a 37-acre site at
the western end of the IUPUI campus. The project is targeted for U.S. Green
Building Council LEED-Silver certification and is scheduled for a 2014
completion.
