Fifth Third eBus Offers Consumers Financial Empowerment

CHICAGO, April 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Financial empowerment is one of the most
valuable tools consumers can have at their disposal, yet there are many who do
not have access to the information they need in order to understand and protect
their financial well-being.

To help combat lack of access, employees of Fifth Third Bank board its 40-foot
long bus with computer workstations and Internet and satellite technology to
travel across the country to offer free one-on-one personalized counseling
including advice about savings and budgeting, home buying and borrowing,
understanding your credit and protecting your identity. Through its eBus
initiative, the Bank has better equipped consumers with the skills and tools
they need to make informed decisions that contribute to their financial
well-being and fulfill their dreams. To date, the tour has served a diverse
population of more than 3.5 million people.

Now through April 12, Fifth Third eBus will make numerous stops across Illinois,
including Lake County, Kankakee and Rockford; in Indiana the bus will make
appearances in South Bend, Elkhart, Gary and Michigan City.

In the spirit of offering a holistic approach to providing access, Fifth Third
has partnered with numerous local non-profit and government agencies who will
join the bus at various stops including New Beginnings Church, City Colleges of
Chicago, La Casa, the Gary Housing Authority, City of Gary, Focal Points,
