Esther White Continues Up Corporate Ladder at White Lodging

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., May 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — White Lodging has announced the
promotion of Esther White to the position of General Manager at the Courtyard by
Marriott in Hammond, Indiana. She comes to this position from the Residence Inn
by Marriott in Hammond where she had served as Operations Manager since July
2010.

While still in school at Purdue University Calumet where she studied hospitality
and tourism management, White began her career with White Lodging. She was first
a Guest Service Representative at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in
Merrillville, Indiana and was later promoted to Front Desk Supervisor.

She then assumed the duties of Operations Manager at the Fairfield Inn and
Suites in Merrillville and was responsible for overseeing the property while it
underwent a $2 million renovation.

After graduating from Purdue, White came back the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza
as the Front Office Manager. During her time there, she handled day-to-day
operations during a period when the hotel was going through a $13 million
renovation.

White also served a one-year turn as the Assistant General Manager at the Hilton
Garden Inn in Merrillville.
