Engler Promoted to Director of Sales at Chandler Cluster

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., July 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Laura Engler was recently
promoted to the Cluster Director of Sales at the Courtyard by Marriott and
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Chandler, Arizona. Prior to her promotion,
Engler was the Cluster Sales Manager at the property. Located in suburban
Phoenix and managed by White Lodging, the unique two-in-one property has a total
of 260 rooms.

position, Engler helped grow the market share at both properties significantly.

A 2008 graduate of Colorado State University, Engler participated in Marriott’s
Advanced Partnership intern program, learning a variety of skills at the
Marriott in Fort Collins, Colorado. One of these was gaining advanced training
as a Banquet Captain and as an Event Manager trainee.

After graduation, Engler was hired by the Marriott Timber Lodge in South Lake
Tahoe, California. In her first year at the property she was part of the
Management Development Program, where she worked in the Food and Beverage
department, at the front desk, and in the Activities and Housekeeping
departments. She was then named Assistant Food and Beverage Manager for the
hotel’s FiRE + iCE restaurant. Engle joined White Lodging in 2010 when she moved
to the Chandler properties.
