Dunlavy Steps into Director of Sales and Marketing Role at JW Marriott Indianapolis

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Oct. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Long-time White Lodging
associate Anne Dunlavy has been promoted to the Director of Sales and Marketing
position at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis. Previously she served as the
Director of Group Sales at the same property and was part of the pre-opening
sales team.

After working with Marriott International for a number of years, Dunlavy joined
White Lodging in 1999. “Anne’s extensive hotel sales experience and knowledge of
the Indianapolis market make her a perfect fit for her new position,” said Scott
Blalock, Vice President /General Manager of the JW Marriott. “She is passionate
about the city as well as our customers, and I know she’ll do a great job in
this role.”

In her first position with White Lodging, Dunlavy was Cluster Director of Sales,
overseeing five hotels in Indianapolis. These included the Courtyard by Marriott
Downtown, The Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown, the Courtyard by Marriott at
the Capitol, the Residence Inn by Marriott at the Airport, and the Fairfield Inn
& Suites by Marriott Downtown.

Dunlavy’s next move was to the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown where, as Senior
Cluster Sales Manager, she was part of the pre-opening team and the winner of
the Full Service Sales Manager of the Year Award. After holding a number of
sales positions at this hotel, she was promoted to Director of Group Sales in
2005.

Two years later, Dunlavy took on a corporate role as the Regional Director of
Sales & Marketing where she was responsible for 25 White Lodging properties in
the Chicagoland area. It was during her 18 months in this position that she
oversaw the opening of eight new properties.
