Concurrent Technologies Corporation Holds Grand Opening Ceremony at New Facility in Crane, Indiana

CRANE, Ind., Sept. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Concurrent Technologies Corporation
(CTC) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to commemorate the grand opening of
its new office in the WestGate @ Crane Technology Park in Crane, Indiana,
adjacent to Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane. CTC has over 1,400
employees working from more than 50 locations across the globe. Thirty employees
will initially be headquartered at the new office with more anticipated.
Attendees at the grand opening ceremony included CTC clients, business partners,
and employees.

“This new building was designed to support collaborative engineering, research,
development, and test and evaluation activities,” said Edward J. Sheehan, Jr.,
CTC’s President & Chief Executive Officer. “The building offers 30,000 square
feet of multi-use, configurable space which includes a conference center with
seating capacity for more than 250 people and four additional conference rooms.
The new facility allows CTC to take advantage of Indiana’s great engineering and
technical talent in order to offer our clients innovative solutions. CTC is
proud to be a member of the West Gate Business community.”

The large conference center provides CTC with an opportunity to pay tribute to
Indiana’s history. It has been named the “USS INDIANAPOLIS (CA-35) Conference
Center” with approval from the Navy History and Heritage Command. The USS
Indianapolis was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine on July 30, 1945, in the
Philippine Sea. The ship sank, and after four and a half days and nights at sea,
rescue crews finally found the accident site. Only 316 men survived out of the
1,196 total on board before the attack. “This is one small way that we can pay
homage to the men who lost their lives,” Mr. Sheehan said about naming the
conference center after the USS INDIANAPOLIS. “The room will include several
artifacts from the ship, which will serve as a reminder to our employees that we
are constantly working to help protect and serve our warfighters.”

“The new facility will also be the home to CTC’s strategic partner, STIMULUS
Engineering Services,” said Rod Padgett, CTC Senior Program Director. STIMULUS
Engineering Services provides specialized engineering services and accelerates
disruptive technologies in the defense, security, energy, and advanced outdoors
markets. “Working closely with STIMULUS allows us to enhance the value of both
companies for our clients,” Mr. Padgett concluded.

CTC and STIMULUS will support regional and national clients with the
capabilities that the new office provides. “This facility will be used to
support Department of Defense clients and enhance the region’s attractiveness to
DoD beyond Indiana,” said Retired Vice Admiral Michael Bucchi, CTC Chief
Military Advisor. Tim Wagler, President of STIMULUS Engineering, added, “We
foresee amazing things happening in and via this facility. It will become a
great enabler for collaboration between NSWC Crane, Camp Atterbury/Muscatatuck
Center for Complex Operations (CA/MCCO), and other organizations within the
Indiana-Kentucky Defense Corridor. We are honored and excited to be playing a
part.”
