Centerplate Awarded an Extension with the Morris Performing Arts Center and Palais Royale Ballroom

SOUTH BEND, Ind., May 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Centerplate, the hospitality
partner to North America’s premier entertainment venues, convention centers and
sports stadiums, announced it has been awarded a contract extension thru 2015
with the Morris Performing Arts Center and the Palais Royale Ballroom in South
Bend, Indiana.

The Morris, built in 1921, and listed in the National Register of Historic
Places, was fully renovated in 2000 restoring it to its original vaudeville
splendor. Today, the theater hosts a wide variety of concerts, national Broadway
touring musicals, symphony, dance, comedians and is home to the South Bend
Symphony Orchestra and Broadway Theatre League.

Centerplate has served as hospitality partner to the Morris for over a decade,
since its restoration, the Morris was recognized in 2010 with the Prime Site
Award from Facilities Magazine for its outstanding service to event clientele,
based on the opinions of over 10,000 booking agents, promoters and talent
buyers. The Morris was also voted South Bend Tribune 2011 Readers’ Choice
“Favorite Live Performance Theater.”

At the Morris, operating as Masterpiece Creations, Centerplate also operates the
Bistro restaurant and just this year launched an off premise catering division,
