Carmichael Back as White Lodging Associate After Three-Year Absence

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., June 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — White Lodging is pleased to
announce the return of Hunter Carmichael to the company. Carmichael is the new
General Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott and the Fairfield Inn & Suites by
Marriott, a dual hotel property in Chandler, Arizona.

very successful, having worked at seven different properties in Texas, Colorado
and Arizona.”

Carmichael first joined White Lodging in 1998, immediately after his graduation
from Texas Tech University. For the next two years, he worked as the
Housekeeping Manager, Front Office Manager and as the Operations Manager at the
Marriott Austin South, and Courtyard by Marriott in Austin, San Antonio and
Mesquite.

Carmichael then moved on to several other White Lodging-managed properties and
accumulated numerous awards. While he was General Manager of the Fairfield Inn &
Suites by Marriott in Austin, Carmichael was nominated for Rookie General
Manager of the year. He went on to win General Manager of the Year for three
consecutive years while at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Austin. During
this period, he was also named Marriott’s General Manager of the Year for the
South Central Region.

Leaving Austin, Carmichael moved to Salt Lake City where he was the General
Manager at the Residence Inn by Marriott. In 2006, White Lodging named him Dual
General Manager at the company’s new Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott
property in Grand Junction, Colorado. Because of his efforts there, White
Lodging gave him Opening of the Year honors and the Top Recruiter of Outstanding
Talent Award.

Most recently, Carmichael worked for Marriott International serving as General
Manager of the 198-room SpringHill Suites in Downtown Miami.
