Budyak Takes on New Role at the Boulder Marriott
MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Aug. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — White Lodging is pleased to
announce the promotion of Justin Budyak to the position of Director of Sales and
Marketing at the Marriott hotel in Boulder, Colorado. Budyak was promoted from
Senior Sales Manager, a position he held since September 2009. While serving as
the property’s Senior Sales Manager, the hotel won White Lodging’s Hotel of the
Year Award in 2010, and Budyak received the Full Service Sales Manager of the
Year Award the same year. He also was named Region 2′s Full Service Sales
Manager of the Year in 2009.

achievements,” said the hotel’s General Manager, Chad Cuddy. Cuddy went on to
laud Budyak for his knowledge of the market and his dedicated preparation for
his new position.
Budyak first came to White Lodging in 2004 while working toward his Bachelor of
Science degree in food service management at Johnson & Wales University in
Denver. He had already earned an associate degree in culinary arts from the same
university. When Budyak joined White Lodging, he worked in the food and beverage
department at the Boulder Marriott. After completing his bachelor degree, he was
promoted to Sales Coordinator at the hotel.
In 2007, Budyak took a position with SYSCO Foods Chicago as a marketing
associate, where he was responsible for building and maintaining customer
relationships.
Returning to White Lodging in 2008 and moving back to Colorado, Budyak was named
Executive Meeting Manager at the Boulder Marriott before being promoted to
Senior Sales Manager at the hotel one year later.
When asked to comment on this new chapter with White Lodging, Budyak said, “I am

company.”
