BioStorage Technologies Appoints New Member to Board of Directors

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — BioStorage Technologies, a global

the bioscience industry, announced today that Thomas J. Newman, M.D., has been
appointed to the company’s board of directors. Dr. Newman joins BioStorage
Technologies with more than 30 years of executive and leadership experience in
the contract services and pharmaceutical industries.

Covance and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Prior to joining industry he was on the
faculty of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical
School.

Dr. Newman received his M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine and his
Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Cornell University.
