BioStorage Technologies Announces the Promotion of Lori A. Ball to Chief Operating Officer
INDIANAPOLIS, June 23 /PRNewswire/ — BioStorage Technologies, a global leader
in temperature controlled storage, cold chain logistics and sample management
for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, announced today the
promotion of Lori A. Ball to chief operating officer.
As COO, Ball will have overall responsibility for the company’s growing global
and domestic operations, including strategic business development, implementing
global growth strategies, and overseeing the company’s recently expanded North
American and European facilities. She will focus on continuing to build a
strong, customer-focused organization, while increasing efficiency across all
aspects of operations. In addition, she will maintain senior management
responsibilities for sales, marketing, logistics and information technology.

Ball joined BioStorage Technologies in 2007 as vice president of global sales
and marketing, where she led worldwide sales initiatives, corporate branding and
international marketing. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of
global operations, where she managed logistics, sample handling and processing,
information technology and new service rollouts.
Prior to joining BioStorage, Ball was with Covance, Inc. a central laboratory
services company, where she served as global head of sales/business development
and global head of supply chain management and logistics. Ball earned a Master
of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of
Arts in Education from Anderson University. In addition, she holds Six Sigma
Green Belt credentials and has completed Six Sigma Executive and Champion
training.
