Drop a custom postcard in the mail – to anyone, anywhere in the U.S. – for a buck

FORT WAYNE, Ind., Mar. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — E-mail greeting cards may be
nice, but for a lot of people, nothing beats a thank-you note or card of
congratulations received through the traditional mail. Now, sending a custom
card through the mail is as an easy four-step process. enables
users – using their computer, smart phone or tablet – to send any number of
custom-designed postcards to any number of individuals for $1 each.

“There are a number of services around for sending e-cards, but for a lot of
people, a real postcard that comes in the U.S. Mail has more meaning,” said
Weston Sigler, one of the founders of BillyNote, which prints the cards on a
high-quality digital press on UV-coated stiff cardboard.

“Our service is simple, because it just does one thing. We have a number of
professionally designed templates for such occasions as a thank-you note,
birthday card, anniversary, or pretty much anything else. But a lot of customers
just upload their own photos or designs, which can say anything they like. For
example, they can be used for community or school notices, store openings or an
endless number of other purposes,” said Sigler.

“Sending a physical card the old-fashioned way is a lot of work – buying the
card, addressing it, stamping it and getting it in the mail. So we think doing
all that for a buck is a pretty good deal,” he said.

Users of the service can set up an account with a credit card, then send cards
in groups of one or more any time. Groups of names and addresses may be uploaded
in spreadsheet form. “It’s a nice personal way for a business to follow up on
new prospects or customers. They can just have one or more custom cards already
set up, then log on and put in the address in a matter of minutes,” said Sigler.
